Yesterday was the best day ever because we did lots of art. We painted the base colour on our Faberge eggs and then added the detail once the base had dried.
Earlier in the week we did some running drills in P.E. and also practised our rugby passing skills. It was very hard to remember to pass the ball behind you but we kept trying!
We’ve been busy with lots of other things and we are looking forward to the Easter holidays. Lots of us are excited to start our topic in dinosaurs next term 😀🐊
In maths we have been learning how to tell the time particularly reading minutes past and to the hour. We have to concentrate more with minutes to the hour because it’s quite tricky!

Cherry class have been very busy this week with nature walks, performance poetry, book reviews, writing poetry and lots more! On Thursday we performed our poems to the judges and because we were all brilliant they really did have a tough decision. Here are two of our performances.
We had our last Judo session this week and enjoyed playing lots of games. Some of us got medals for working hard and improving our Judo.
After our wet but fun nature walk around Woodborough, we rehearsed our poems for the performance poetry competition on Thursday. To help us identify the rhythm in our poems we used musicial instruments and performed the poem to the beat. Here are two videos for you to enjoy!
