M-art

This morning we combined maths and art.  We looked at repeating patterns and used Christmas trees and baubles to create repeating patterns of colour and the results were brilliant.  First we had to draw around our templates (tricky) and then choose colours to repeat.  Here are some of them.

Later we had our last judo lesson and played lots of games. It was great fun and we had lots of nail biting battles. At the end, Mark gave out four medals to those who have demonstrated consistently hardwork,  sportsmanship and discipline all term (he had a hard job to only choose four)!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

This week, we’ve been busy getting into the Christmas spirit.  The class Christmas tree went up yesterday and we all made a bauble from hama beads and hung them on the tree this morning.  We have started our advent calendar and are enjoying reading parts of the Christmas story after we have eaten our chocolate treat!
